The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, or AODA, aims to remove and prevent barriers for people with disabilities.
As a technology based organization we strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA Compliance. In order to meet these standards, we have implemented a variety of features including:
- Photos have been applied with alternative (alt) text. Alt text allows users with vision loss and those using a screen reader to hear a description of the photo.
- The website is designed and programmed to function across all devices including mobile, tablet, and desktop. The website can be used across all browsers and with assistive technologies like screen readers.
We will continually test the functionality to ensure it remains compatible with all devices and browsers. If you would like information in an alternative format please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
